OUR WORKSHOP ETHOS // EST. CLERKENWELL

About: Designed Around the Viewer

Mediapandacarouselmd started around a studio worktable in Clerkenwell where editorial designers, accessibility testers, and front-end teachers kept running into the same question: why are web carousels so often unpleasant to use?

WORKSHOP PRINCIPLES // HOW WE TEACH

Three Commitments on Every Page We Publish

Whether you are an independent designer assembling a portfolio walk-through or a front-end beginner coding your first interactive gallery, our tutorials hold fast to three rules:

01 // ZERO BLOAT

Plain HTML, CSS & Vanilla JS

You should never need a 90-kilobyte third-party slider dependency just to step between four photographs. Every pattern on this site runs on clean, inspectable browser standards.

02 // VIEWER RESPECT

Accessibility First, Never Bolted On

We explain every CSS rule and ARIA attribute in terms of the human being using it—whether they navigate with a mouse, keyboard, screen reader, or 200% zoom.

INDEPENDENT PUBLISHING

Product-Free, Evidence-Led Visual Presentation

Operated by Media Panda Carousel MD Studio Ltd in London, mediapandacarouselmd.com is an independent educational publication. We do not sell commercial slider plugins, promote e-commerce conversion tricks, or run third-party advertising networks.

Our reference points come from print bookmaking, archival curation, documentary photo essays, and the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) authoring practices. If a visual presentation pattern helps a reader understand a sequence with less friction, we document how to build it; if a pattern confuses the viewer, we show what to use instead.
